Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms are between you and the joint venture of Spry LLC and Goliath Multi Media LLC, 4407 Vineland Rd. D-6, Orlando, FL 32811, United States ("we", "us"). They govern your use of sweethomes.tv.
By using the site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this site.
2. What this site is
sweethomes.tv is a promotional website for the television series Sweet Homes. It provides information about the show, a trailer and other videos, a way to join a mailing list, and a way to send us a partnership or participation enquiry.
It does not sell anything, take payments, or host user accounts. Nothing on it is an offer to appear on the show, a promise that we will build or buy anything, or professional advice of any kind — including advice about real estate, construction, or the value of any property shown.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site unlawfully, or to harass, threaten or defame anyone
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
- Interfere with the site's operation, including by automated submission of the forms
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the site
- Misrepresent who you are when contacting us
4. Our content
The Sweet Homes name and logo, the series, the videos, the photography, the text and the design of this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or create derivative works from its content without our written permission, except as fair use or fair dealing allows.
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email josh@wearespry.com with enough detail to identify the work, where it appears, and how to reach you.
5. Ideas and materials you send us
Please read this section before sending us anything.
We receive a great many enquiries, and we develop and produce television independently. Ideas that seem novel are often ones we are already working on, have considered before, or receive from several people at once.
So: anything you send us through the enquiry form or otherwise — including ideas, concepts, formats, pitches, treatments, photographs, plans, property details and suggestions — is sent on a non-confidential and non-obligation basis. By sending it you agree that:
- It does not create any confidential or fiduciary relationship between us
- We are under no obligation to review it, keep it confidential, or return it
- We may already be working on something similar or identical, from our own efforts or from another source
- We are free to use, develop and exploit anything similar or identical without any obligation or payment to you
- You are not entitled to any compensation, credit or acknowledgement in respect of it
This does not affect any separate written agreement we sign with you. If you want to share something in confidence, do not send it through this site — contact us first and we will tell you whether a written agreement is appropriate.
You confirm that anything you send is yours to send and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Links to other sites
The site links to places we do not control — YouTube, Zillow, our broadcast partners and others. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Their terms apply when you are on their sites.
Property listings we link to are maintained by third parties and may be out of date, inaccurate or withdrawn. Do not rely on them.
7. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current. Broadcast dates, platforms and details about the show may change.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the site — whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the site will not exceed US$100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is so, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
If you live in Canada or in a jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, nothing here removes that right.
Before starting any proceeding, please email josh@wearespry.com and give us 30 days to resolve the matter.
10. General
- Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material we will say so on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the site.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.
